How a Water Pump Works
When it rains, when the water level of the sump well reaches the working position of the low-level float, the float valve conducts the signal, and the signal is input to the water pump controller, and the water pump controller sends a start signal to the contactor, the contactor coil is energized and closed, the water pump starts, and pumping begins. The first pump and the second pump are switched alternately. If the water level reaches the action position of the high float valve, the action signal is input to the water pump controller, and the water pump controller sends a signal to attract the two contactors, and the two water pumps start at the same time.
When the water level of the collection well drops to a low water level, the water pump will automatically stop working and remain in a standby state, waiting for the next precipitation.
Of course, the water pump control cabinet can also be started manually, switching to the manual control mode, the start and stop control of the water pump can be carried out on site. The entire pumping system usually has at least two pumps, one of which is used as a backup pump. The backup pump is used in emergency situations, such as the replacement of the main pump if it is damaged. Of course, in an emergency, the backup water pump will also start at the same time to complete the drainage work of the community.
